Why Ignoring Your Intuition is the Biggest Risk You Can Take: My Journey to Creating This Wild Life

A Childhood Connected to Nature

From as early as I can remember, I’ve always had a profound connection with nature. I spent my childhood dreaming of saving animals, protecting rainforests, and helping to build a better world. I was curious, quietly rebellious, and asked questions others didn’t think children should be asking.

But, like many of us, as I grew older, the expectations of the world grew louder, and the whispers of my true self grew quieter.

The Cost of Conformity

Achievement, success, and the need to “fit in” took precedence. By the time I left-school, graduated university and landed a prestigious role at McLaren Automotive, I had seemingly “made it.”

Yet beneath the surface, something inside me felt broken.

Despite career success, travel, and exciting new opportunities, I continued to feel an internal restlessness that I couldn’t shake. Every time I pushed myself to keep going, I found myself crashing harder than before.

I tried to silence my intuition, telling myself it was just stress or exhaustion. But the truth is, I wasn’t living in alignment with who I truly was.

The Breakthrough of Breakdown

It wasn’t until the birth of my first child and a subsequent mental health breakdown that I was forced to listen—to really listen. My body made the choice for me, and I had no other option but to stop and reflect.

It was in that space of darkness that I found the light. This journey of healing and rediscovery led me back to my roots—embracing intuition, nature, and the wisdom they offer.

Over the past 8 years, I’ve been on a deeply transformative journey of spiritual growth and healing. I’ve been forced to confront parts of myself that I buried long ago—the parts that society told me weren’t important or necessary for success.

In that process, I reconnected with my true self, my wild self. And it’s from that place of awakening that This Wild Life was born.

The Birth of This Wild Life

This Wild Life isn’t just a business—it’s a way of living. It’s for those who are tired of conforming to the rigid expectations of modern life and are ready to reconnect with nature, intuition, and authenticity.

Through The Nest, I help individuals reclaim their personal power, discover their purpose, and build a life that is deeply aligned with who they truly are.

So, why is it such a risk to ignore your intuition?

Because every time you silence that inner voice, you drift further away from your true self. And in doing so, you risk missing out on the life you are truly meant to live.

My journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s led me to a place of deep purpose and fulfillment.

And now, I’m here to guide others who are ready to embrace their wildness, trust their intuition, and create lives and businesses they love.

At the heart of my mission is The Nest Circles—a community for those who want to explore a more relational approach to business and marketing. Whether you’re feeling challenged in your current business eforts or yearning for more balance and deeper connection with your authentic self, I’m here to support you.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to explore The Nest, my upcoming Bloom Group Programme, or my 1:1 business & marketing coaching offerings. Together, we can cultivate a life and business blueprint that nurtures your essence whilst bringing you lasting abundance.
